Taylor Swift reckons she can now call Kanye West a friend.

The two artists were perceived to have had a frosty relationship after the rapper stormed the stage at the 2009 VMAs whilst Swift was collecting an award.

He suggested that Beyoncé should have won the prize, not Swift.

However, the '1989' star has now told the June issue of Glamour that the two musicians are now on good terms.

She said: "We actually, I guess, could be called friends now!

"I honestly think I needed to continue to prove myself in my career and I think it finally got to a place where he realised he respected what I do as a musician."
