Two fans attended Taylor Swift's latest European tour date courtesy of the singer after they missed a previous gig due to a flight delay.

South Africa radio DJ Stephanie Be and boyfriend Joe Crann had flown to the UK to see the US star perform at Hyde Park on Saturday (June 27).

However, they posted on Twitter to reveal that they would miss the concert because of flight delays.

Swift was alerted to their cause - and gifted them tickets to see her gig in Dublin on Monday (June 29).

She wrote: "I'm really sorry you missed it but if you can get to Dublin I'll buy you tickets! Sorry to hear about the travel nightmare. :(."

Be took to Twitter before the show to confirm that they had received tickets for the concert.

She said: "As if there was any doubt she wouldn't come through ;) THANK YOU @taylorswift13 #1989TourDublin."

However, it seems she didn't quite make it to Swift's backstage tour hangout spot Loft89.

Be added: "Stranded outside Loft89. So close, just can't get in. If there was one last miracle to happen, it'd be this @taylorswift13 #1989TourDublin."
