Taylor Swift has been invited talk at the Oxford Union.

The English university debating society reached out to the singer with a mash-up video.

The clip featured snippets of famous people speaking at the Union along to audio of Swift's hit song 'Shake It Off'.

Charles Vaughan, the president of the Oxford Union, told the Independent that the singer's busy schedule has meant she hasn't been able to appear yet at the society.

He added: "Taylor Swift is an international sensation who does not just produce enjoyable music but has become a contemporary cultural icon."

Music names who have spoken at the Union in the past include Michael Jackson, John Mayer and Yoko Ono.
