Taylor Swift has landed highly on Forbes' latest list of the most influential young business people.

The 25-year-old charted at No.6 on their 40 Under 40 rundown - the highest placed entry for an entertainer.

This is particularly down to Swift's stance against Apple Music's royalties earlier this year, which forced the company to make a U-turn.

WeWork entrepreneur Adam Neumann is No.1 on the list, with Tesla's J.B. Straubel and Uber's Ryan Graves following at No.2 and No.3.

Swift meanwhile is currently touring her smash hit album '1989'.

The record, which was released in 2014, has spawned singles such as 'Shake It Off' and 'Style'.
