Taylor Swift has announced plans to release a film of her recent 1989 world tour.

The singer embarked on the jaunt between May and December this year across the world.

The US star will now release a film of the tour on December via Apple Music.

The main footage will come from Swift's show at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney on November 28.

However, there will be plenty of bonus footage that will shed more light on Swift's penchant for including big name cameos on her tour.

The live dates came in support of Swift's 2014 album '1989'.

The record was recently nominated for the coveted Album of the Year Grammy, as well as Best Pop Vocal Album.
