Taylor Swift unveils wax replica

Taylor Swift was on hand at Madame Tussauds in Times Square yesterday (October 27) to unveil the newest addition to the museum – a waxwork likeness of herself.

The singer posed with the figure, which was dressed identically to herself in a spangled mini dress – designed by Jenny Packham and donated for the occasion by Swift – and black peep-toes. The statue was also accompanied by a replica guitar adorned with 2,000 Swarovski crystals.

Though the waxwork has a noticeably less curly hairdo than the star’s trademark mane of ringlets, Swift was still impressed with the likeness, saying: “I think the face looks a lot like me and this is so crazy".

She added: “This is wonderful. I’m really thankful".

Swift is currently promoting her latest album ‘Speak Now’.
