Taylor Lautner says his relationship with Taylor Swift was short but sweet.

The Twilight actor dated the musician in 2009 before they went their separate ways.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Lautner said the fling lasted around three months.

He said: "It was a good time. It was a fun few months there."

Swift meanwhile is reportedly dating English actor Tom Hiddlestone.

The famous pair were repeatedly snapped out and about together this summer.

She had just come off the back of a relationship with DJ Calvin Harris.
