Taylor Swift has scored a 40th week sitting at No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated Aug. 22), with her critically-acclaimed 5 star album, folklore, the Grammy Award-winning superstar’s eighth album. 

The set scores a third week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 136,000 equivalent album units earned, two weeks after it debuted with 846,000 units, the biggest single-week sum for any album in history since the global superstar's album, Lover, in 2019.

Swift concurrently charts three songs from Folklore on the latest Billboard Hot 100. 'Cardigan' at No. 1, 'The 1' at No. 50 and 'Exile (feat. Bon Iver),' at No. 61. Since its release on July 24 this year, folklore has cemented itself as the top selling album of 2020. 

With her 40th week atop the Billboard Artist 100, the singer-songwriter extends her record for the most time spent at No. 1, dating to the chart's 2014 launch. She is followed by Drake with 31 weeks, The Weeknd with 20, Post Malone with 14 and Ariana Grande with 13.

The Billboard Artist 100 chart combines performance across the Hot 100 chart, the Billboard 200 album chart, and the Internet-centric Social 50 chart.
