Taylor Swift celebrates tour's end with surprise

Taylor Swift celebrated the end of her European tour by receiving a special plaque that honoured an impressive achievement.

Following her performance at London's O2 Arena on Wednesday, March 30, the 'You Belong With Me' superstar was given a huge framed plaque for selling over 20 million records worldwide. Speaking to the Associated Press after the concert, she exclaimed:

"I'm absolutely blown away by the 20 million records plaque. It's beyond my comprehension to get a plaque like that and the fact that the fans have done that much for me in such a short period of time is just unreal."

The 21-year-old Grammy award winning singer-songwriter also spoke about her apprehension upon entering the music industry, but expressed her gratitude at how her career has turned out:

"As a songwriter, to have the people singing the lyrics back to you in countries where they don't even really speak English it's like, it's so gratifying."
