An new rom-com believed to be inspired by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship is reportedly in the pipeline.

The global superstar and Kansas City Chiefs player's relationship has drawn massive media attention since the pair first got together last year, with Swift attending numerous NFL games, and Kelce supporting Swift on her record-breaking Eras tour.

Now, the NFL has teamed up with Hallmark to create a Christmas romance movie inspired by the Kansas City Chiefs, called Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.

According to Entertainment Weekly, production is set to begin in July in Kansas City, Missouri, with some filming scheduled to be held at the Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Chiefs.

The official synopsis for the movie reads: "Alana (King) is sure that her family's lifelong history as Kansas City Chiefs superfans makes them a frontrunner to win the team's Fan of the Year contest.

"Derrick (Hynes), director of fan engagement, is tasked with evaluating how Alana and her family stack up against the other two finalists. As the pair spends time together, it's clear there's a spark between them.

When Alana's grandfather's vintage lucky Chiefs hat goes missing, however, she "begins to doubt everything she believed about fate and even questions her future with Derrick" — that is, unless "a little Christmas magic can throw a Hail Mary."

Hallmark's chief brand officer Darren Abbott spoke about the movie: "With Hallmark and the Kansas City Chiefs both homegrown, rooted in values, tradition and community, there is a special alchemy between these two iconic organizations," perhaps referring to Swift's song "The Alchemy," which a lot of fans feel is about Kelce.

He added: "By blending the warmth of Hallmark storytelling with the excitement of professional football, we are thrilled to give audiences a front-row seat to this community's spirit, rich traditions, and passionate fans that define Kansas City, all wrapped up in the comforting and uplifting Hallmark way."

Meanwhile, the Grammy winner's 152-date world Eras tour, which kicked-off last year on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona, U.S., is set to conclude on December 8 this year in Vancouver, Canada.
