Taylor Swift named highest paid celebrity under 30 by Forbes magazine

Country-pop sensation Taylor Swift has been crowned the highest-paid celebrity under 30 by Forbes magazine, it has been confirmed.

Forbes posted the updated list earlier today (July 12) and put Swift at No.1 with an estimated yearly income of $57 million. The magazine explained that between May 2011 and May 2012 she raked in just over $50k, which makes her more wealthy than Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.

Her impressive earnings are reported to have come from touring, album sales, and her endorsement with Cover Girl cosmetics. Back in May, the 'Safe & Sound' beauty made a generous donation of $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.

Out of the Top 10, 6 positions have been filled by women such as Rihanna ($53 million), Lady Gaga ($52 million) and Katy Perry ($45). Justin Bieber came in at No.2 with $55 million. Watch her music video for 'Both of Us', which is a collaboration with B.o.B, below:
