Taylor Swift 'obsesses' over what people think of her if she reads about herself

Superstar Taylor Swift has admitted that she avoids reading about herself in magazines and on the Internet because the stories often trouble her.

Her career has gone from strength to strength and the 'Mean' songstress revealed that to keep herself level-headed and free from worry she turns a blind eye to things the press print about her:

"I try not to read anything about myself. My friends make fun of me because if I see my name somewhere, I just click off of it."

"If you read too many things about yourself that are just a little bit incorrect, you start obsessing over what people think about you. I really have no idea what the general perception is about me right now."

She has now unveiled her brand new single, entitled 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together', and announced last night that her new studio album will be called 'Red'. The record is due to be released on October 22. Listen to 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' here:
