Taylor Swift reveals "most important" line in 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'

Songstress Taylor Swift has admitted that she doesn't mind about all of the speculation that surrounds her songs because "at least" people are paying attention to the lyrics if they're trying to figure out who they're referring to.

“It doesn’t bother me when people try to deconstruct my songs – because at least they’re looking at the lyrics, and paying attention to the way the story is told," she explained.

Speaking to Britain's The Guardian newspaper, Swift explained that there's a particularly poignant line in her break-up anthem 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together', namely "and you will hide away and find your piece of mind with some indie record that's much cooler than mine", because it really embodies everything she didn't like about the as of yet unnamed ex-boyfriend it was written about:

"That was the most important line of the song. It was a relationship where I felt very critiqued and sub-par. He'd listen to this music that nobody had heard of ... but as soon as anyone else liked these bands, he'd drop them."

"I felt that was a strange way to be a music fan. And I couldn't understand why he would never say anything nice about the songs I wrote or the music I made."

Swift's forthcoming new album, 'Red', will finally drop on October 22 and you can listen to her dubstep tinged track 'I Knew You Were Trouble' below:
