Taylor Swift intruder charge dropped

A man accused of trespassing on Taylor Swift's property has had his charge dropped.

24-year-old Jacob Kulke, from Wisconsin, allegedly jumped over a fence whilst carrying a knife at Swift's home in Nashville, Tennessee on December 14.

Kulke's attorney Sean McKinney, however, has confirmed that the case has been dropped because prosecutors deemed the case not worthy of taxpayer's money.

He added that no charges were ultimately pressed because guards allegedly granted Kulke access into the property, with the 24-year-old said to be under the impression that he was allowed into the home.

Swift was in the house at the time and Kulke earlier revealed himself as a fan of the hugely successful country pop star, with reports at the time suggesting that he claimed he was the singer's ex-boyfriend.

The 'Red' star previously went on record to reveal that she is often the target of stalkers, with her team warning her about potential trouble. Watch Taylor Swift's video for 'I Knew You Were Trouble' below:
