Taylor Swift is back in the recording studio, according a tweet sent by the country-pop star.

The singer enjoyed a successful 2012, with her album 'Red' shifting millions of units in the US and performing well in charts worldwide.

It seems, however, that she is looking to keep the momentum going by returning to the studio.

She tweeted yesterday (January 10): "Back in the studio...Uh oh."

The Sun meanwhile reports that Swift's record label have confirmed that she will write a song about One Direction's Harry Styles.

The pair were seen holding hands and kissing but newspaper reports recently suggested the duo fell out after a huge argument on holiday.
