Taylor Swift has poured cold water over speculation she visited London to reconcile with Harry Styles.

The country-pop star was snapped landing in London on a private jet recently, with reports suggesting that she booked a hotel near the One Direction man's home.

Tabloid media reported that they were due to meet up to talk about their apparent split - but Swift has taken to Twitter to confirm she was in England for a photoshoot.

The 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' star said: "Quick photo shoot in London and now we're in Madrid. BFF status to @edsheeran for hooking up my friends with tickets to his nashville show!!"

Reports had also suggested that Styles could meet Swift in France, but the news of her visit to Spain may also have put paid to that particular rumour.
