Taylor Swift is set to evoke a dark mood in her upcoming BRIT Awards performance.

The singer is due to play live at the star-studded ceremony in London on February 20.

Whilst her Grammys show on Sunday (February 10) saw the country-pop star wear white clothes in a grand performance, the BRITs is set to be different.

Her costume designer Marina Toybina told WENN that the BRITs show will be "much darker". She said:

"Taylor will be going much darker for the BRITs - there will be a lot of black. It will be like a part two to what we did for the Grammys...but that's not to say we'll be creating another circus onstage. It will look different."

Toybina added that it took 10 days to create the outfits for Swift's Grammys show. She revealed:

"It was exhausting. We didn't get much sleep for a week and a half. But it was all worth it when we saw the end result and the look on Taylor's face made all the effort worthwhile. She was so excited." Watch some YouTube users comment on Swift's Grammys show below:
