Taylor Swift has opened up on her relationship with One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles in a new magazine interview.

The country songstress has spoken about her much talked-about love life in the new edition of Vanity Fair, revealing: “If you want some big revelation, since 2010 I have dated exactly two people,” referring to Conor Kennedy and 'Kiss You' singer Styles.

Taylor has also been linked to a string of stars including John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner and Joe Jonas.

The blonde beauty has slammed rumours surrounding her romantic life, adding: "The fact that there are slide shows of a dozen guys that I either hugged on a red carpet or met for lunch or wrote a song with. . . it’s just kind of ridiculous.

“It’s why I have to avoid the tabloid part of our culture, because they turn you into a fictional character.”

Swift is adamant that she doesn’t go into the personal details of any of her relationships, but the star authorised someone to discuss her romance with Harry in the magazine interview.

The insider close to Swift revealed: “He wore her down. He was all, like, ‘You’re amazing—I want to be with you. I want to do this.

"But the whole time she says she feels like he’s looking at every girl."

The source then explained that when they were in London together he “disappears one night and after that it was like he just didn’t want to keep going.”
