Taylor Swift knows who Carly Simon's 'You're So Vain' is about

Last weekend, country pop superstar Taylor Swift brought out singer Carly Simon as a special guest at her Massachusetts 'Red' tour date and together they performed a duet of 'You're So Vain'.

While the name of the person Simon wrote the iconic song about has never been publicly revealed, the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' beauty confessed in a recent interview that she was let in on the secret after they played together at the Gillette Stadium in Foxboro.

During an interview after the show, Swift confessed to the reporter: "I was thinking she might tell you (the secret), but I do know now." She added of the song: "When I heard 'You're So Vain', I thought, 'That is the best song that has ever been written.' That is the most direct way anyone has ever addressed a break-up. It's amazing."

Following the memorable moment, the sensation took to her Twitter page on the night of July 28 and told her followers: "Got to sing 'You're So Vain' with Carly Simon at Gillette Stadium tonight!!!!!
