Taylor Swift on planning ahead: 'I never make wish lists'

'I Knew You Were Trouble' beauty Taylor Swift has revealed that expectation can be a dangerous thing so she never makes 'wish lists' that put her ahead of herself.

During a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, the hitmaker explained that it's easy to feel let down when you build yourself up with thoughts of what might happen, so instead she doesn't make huge goals that she might feel let down by in the future:

"One thing I’ve tried to never do is make wish lists. I try to have a very stepping-stone mentality about this whole thing, where as soon as you make one step you visualize the next step, not five steps ahead."

"There’s a line in the movie ('One Chance') that’s almost word-for-word that metaphor. That’s the way I’ve always looked at my career. I would love to win another Grammy. I would love to get to go the Oscars someday. That’s why I’m so happy to get to be a part of movies."

When asked if there's one artist in particular she wants to collaborate with, Swift quickly answered that 'Titanium' sensation Sia would be her first choice: "I’m kinda obsessed with Sia. Always have been."
