The Killers: 'Some of our new material feels heavier than anything we’ve ever done'
The Killers star Brandon Flowers believes some of the band's new songs flirts with a heaviness the group have never touched on before.
Speaking to Q, the singer said the band's fresh material - which started being recorded back in September alongside producer Jacknife Lee - explores new ground for the Americans.
Flowers said: "There are moments that feel heavier than anything we’ve ever done, not that we’re the heaviest band in the world, but they have a finesse because of our experience. There’s also really beautiful things. Lyrically, it’s really close to home."
The Killers' last album 'Battle Born' was released in 2014 and while it topped the UK chart, it only managed to land at No.3 in their native US.
