The Killers drummer reveals solo album's release date

Ronnie Vannucci, drummer with The Killers, recently announced he was recording a solo album and the exiting project has finally been given a release date. 

This will be Vannucci's debut solo album, entitled 'Big Talk', and it is due to be released on July 11 with the first single, 'Getaways', set for a May 10 unveiling. 

As previously explained, the record was made in London and he spoke to the NME about his excitement at releasing his own music after so long working under The Killers:

"I needed to do this, it's such a departure from what I'm used to, but now, having done it, it feels like the right thing to do,"

"It all feels very natural. I can't sit on a couch very long!"
