The Killers have announced a lengthy UK tour due to take place later this year.

NME reports that the US rock band will visit the country to promote their new album 'Battle Born', which is scheduled for a September 17 release.

The jaunt will kick off in Glasgow and Aberdeen on October 26 and 27 respectively before hitting England and Wales.

They will conclude the run of shows at London's O2 Arena with two gigs on November 16 and 17.
