Brandon Flowers: 'I'm going to put my heart and soul into my new solo record'

Brandon Flowers, frontman for Las Vegas rockers The Killers, has revealed that he has high hopes for his next solo album in a new interview.

Speaking to the NME, the star explained that he is excited to focus on his own project independent of the band: "I'm just going to put my heart and soul into my solo record."

The 'Crossfire' heartthrob also opened up about how The Killers are currently touring China without bassist Mark Stoermer (pictured below) and added that he's not sure why he isn't on the road with them, but there's nothing that can be done about it:

"I hear different stories all the time. He's tired... something physical, something mental. I can't force him to come here. But it's fine we are getting through. Whatever's happening now [with Stoermer] is going to be fine by the time we make another record."
