The Script in tour bus crash

The Script almost didn't make their slot at Radio 1's Big Weekend on Sunday, May 15 after they were involved in a road traffic collision. 

The band's frontman, Danny O'Donoghue, revealed to Scotland's Daily Record that another vehicle smashed into the side of their tour bus leaving them shaken before performing in front of over 40,000 people in Carlisle. 

"We had a crash last night, a bad accident. We were driving along, having a drink and, whack! Someone hit us. The wine was all smashed over the floor."

"It's the worst thing that's happened yet on tour and it was pretty serious. It was the first collision we've had on our tour bus."

Despite this setback, the three-piece act pulled a fantastic set out of the bag and wowed the audience with their repertoire of hit tracks. Watch them play 'Together We Cry' live from the event here:
