The Script & will.i.am climb to the UK number one spot

The Script & will.i.am’s ‘Hall of Fame,’ has climbed to this week’s No.1 to give the Irish trio their first ever chart-topper.

The Voice coaches’ collaboration was initially trailing behind Amelia Lily’s ‘You Bring Me Joy’ in the midweeks but a late sales surge saw them deny the X-Factor third-place finalist from bagging pole position with her debut single.

Last week’s number one, Ne-Yo’s ‘Let Me Love You’ dropped to No.3, Little Mix’s ‘Wings’ held firm at No.4, while Pink's 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' fell to No.5.

Elsewhere, there were new entries for Tulisa’s ‘Live It Up’ (No.11), David Guetta’s ‘She Wolf’ (No.14) and ‘Play Hard’ (No.22), Mumford & Sons’ ‘I Will Wait’ (No.17), The Killers’ ‘Runaways' (No.18), Otto Knows’ ‘Million Voices’ (No.24), Kanye West & Jay Sean's Clique (No.29), PSY's 'Gangname Style' (No.37) and Conor Maynard's 'Turn Around' (No.39) and a re-entry for Gerry & The Pacemakers' 'You'll Never Walk Alone' (No.12).
