Danny O'Donoghue has self-imposed a sex ban on himself after hurting his rib on holiday.

The Irish singer revealed to The Sun that he recently injured his ribs whilst enjoying some water sport fun in Barbados.

It means, however, that he struggles to breathe heavily, with the Voice UK coach deciding to temporarily ban himself from having sex as a result.

He said: "I came off the back of an inflatable boat being towed by another boat. I was bouncing around on the f****** thing and I popped out the back and crashed on to my ribs."

O'Donoghue added: "I can't take deep breaths to sing or have sex. I don't have a girlfriend to complain, though."
