Could a reunion for British boyband The Wanted be in store?

Could a reunion for The Wanted to celebrate their 10-year anniversary be in store?

The British boyband were once managed by Scooter Braun and consisted of Max GeorgeSiva KaneswaranJay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes, but split up to pursue solo endeavors in 2014 after releasing three studio albums.

Their debut album, The Wanted, was released on 25 October 2010 and spawned three UK top 20 singles. Their first single "All Time Low" debuted at No. 1.

In 2012, the band began to achieve success in the US and Canada when their hit single "Glad You Came" sold 3 million copies in the US and hit No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 2 on the Canadian Hot 100. Their follow-up singles "Chasing the Sun" and "I Found You" reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart.

At the time of splitting up, member Tom Parker said: "Deep down I think I knew we'd come to our sell-by date. For every manufactured boy band, there's a shelf life. We were supposed to rival 1D but no one could touch them."

However, Parker has admitted that he'd love nothing more than the band to reform in 18 months' time to celebrate a decade since they launched.

The 29-year-old told OK! magazine: "I didn't want the band to split, it was my life for six years. We were happiest when we were on stage, it was all the s**t that went on with politics, the record label and too many opinions, which caused friction. I would like us to do something for our ten-year anniversary, which is in 18 months."

He says that he doesn't know whether Sykes will be willing to rejoin the group temporarily because he's so busy focusing on his solo career at the moment.

The singer explained: "Whether it's a five or a four I'm not sure, it's just whether Nath would like to as he's concentrating on his solo career, which is fair enough."

In 2015 Sykes was quoted as saying "Never say never"  though, so who knows whether their 10-year anniversary plans will go ahead with him included, or what the future holds for fans of The Wanted, but we're sure they're eagerly awaiting to see.
