The Wanted win Best British Act at BBC's Teen Awards

The Wanted won the biggest prize at this year's BBC Radio 1's Teen Awards as they were named Best British Act. 

Hosted by Nick Grimshaw and Mollie King from The Saturdays, we saw performances from Jason Derulo, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Pixie Lott, Joe Jonas, Rizzle Kicks and Cher Lloyd

Heroic teens Alec Martin, Pippa Haines and Charlie Ward were presented awards for doing something out of the ordinary as young people. 

Olly Murs' self-titled debut album won Best British Album and Ed Sheeran took home the award for Best Single for 'The A Team'. 

Sheeran announced that the Best British Actor, Harry Potter star, Rupert Grint, would be starring in his next music video. 

The other winners were 17-year-old diver, Tom Daley for Best Young British Sports Star and The Inbetweeners for Best British TV Programme.
