The Wanted have announced details of a 2012 U.S. tour that will see them perform in a variety of cities from Chicago to Los Angeles. 

The group recently revealed to the Daily Star that they are attracting a lot of attention stateside and have even been added to several radio playlists, and will now take their smash hits across the pond for a string of exciting dates. 

They have also enjoyed fantastic success in their home country this year and have just been awarded a Neilsen SoundScan prize for their single 'Lightning', which has reached 30,000 plays on UK radio.

Their 10-date jaunt will begin mid-January and is set to finish in California on February 8 and the full list of shows is as follows:

• January 22 - New York, NY (Irving Plaza) 
• January 24 - Philadelphia, PA (Theatre of Living Arts) 
• January 26 - Chicago, IL (Bottom Lounge) 
• January 27 - Minneapolis, MN (Fine Line)
• January 31 - Dallas, TX (Prophet Bar)
• February 2 - Salt Lake City, UT (Club Sound) 
• February 7 - San Diego, CA (House of Blues)
• February 8 - Los Angeles, CA (The Roxy)
