The Wanted can't believe their luck in America

The Wanted's Jay McGuiness has opened up about Glee's decision to include the group's hit 'Glad You Came' on the show

It was confirmed yesterday, February 6, that the boyband's fantastic single was earmarked by producers of the U.S. musical comedy series and will be covered by the cast in the near future. Now, McGuiness has explained to Capital FM that the lads simply can't believe their luck:

"We've been working with Justin Bieber's management and they actually put it forward and sort of left Glee to research us and then they saw us on the Ellen DeGeneres show and said 'that was pretty good'.

"Then they looked at a lot of our online stuff and apparently their producers and everyone are just fans. I can't get my head around it – but I'm very grateful."

When asked if they wanted to take part in the episode that will include their song, he added: "Yeah, we're going to try our very best. We are desperate to be on there."
