The Wanted are making the most of their down time by spending it in the studio. 

The lads are set to return to the U.S. next week for their performance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, but are back at work despite having a few days off.

Member Nathan Sykes tweeted a message to his followers earlier today, March 15, that explained the group are busy honing their skills while they have the opportunity:

"3rd studio day on my 5th 'day off' ... wtf ...... Its ok though, I'm in with "the boss" ... #magicals**tjustabouttogodown ... #hard#toread"

The 'Lightning' singers are celebrating another stateside success today as their single 'Glad You Came' has now been certified Platinum in America and Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, sent them a congratulatory tweet that read:

"congrats to @thewantedmusic for Glad You Came going Platinum in the US. first song out! more to come. See u in LA and Vegas next week"
