The Wanted confirm hit tracks for new album

The Wanted have teased fans with more details about their forthcoming new album.

The group are currently working on the follow-up to their 2011 record 'Battleground' and it seems like the quintet are wading through a whole load of new material.

Speaking to MTV News, Siva Kaneswaran revealed that they have worked on 30 tracks so far but have only selected a fraction of that to keep for the album. He said:

"We had more than 30 songs and we picked about five or six that we were like 'Yeah, these are really high hitters'. We have to get the rest of the album finished."

Max George however clarified: "Some of the songs are for other artists and we don't always write for The Wanted. It's different, when it's 30 songs that we've each written a share of individually, to put them together to make an album that actually makes sense because there were some that were too obscure, some that were too personal or whatever."
