UK based boyband The Wanted have weighed in on Taylor Swift's turbulent love life and the lads agreed that maybe she should remain unattached for a while in order to recover.

It was reported earlier this week that Swift's romance with One Direction's Harry Styles might be over, although the news is yet to be confirmed, and the 'Chasing The Sun' lads gave their opinions on the situation while chatting to E! News at last night's People's Choice Awards.

Heartthrob Jay McGuiness said he thinks "she should stay single for a bit", a comment that prompted bandmate Nathan Sykes to add: "write a whole album about [being single]."

Singer Max George admitted that he think she's beautiful and would consider dating her himself if he was a bit taller: "She's a very attractive girl. I'm just a bit short [for her]."

Meanwhile, The Wanted picked up the People's Choice Award for Favourite Breakout Artist at the ceremony and thanked their fans for the title: "This never happens to us! We've never won anything before!"
