The Wanted join online bullying campaign

The Wanted have teamed up with a new campaign aiming to raise awareness of internet bullying.

The arrival of social networking websites such as Twitter has made it increasingly easy for trolls and cyber bullies to take aim at victims.

As part of their Do Something initiative, charity vinspired have launched the LOLZ Not Trolls campaign in an effort to get people to stop online bullying.

The Wanted are one of many famous faces who have lent their support to the cause, with the group saying in a statement:

"Through the years we have met a lot of fans, ranging from all ages around the world. It would be horrible to think that these young people are becoming the victims of trolling, or are even trolling themselves. We'd like to encourage people to sign up to the Do Something campaign [and] show that you can make a difference."

Caroline Flack and Hollyoaks' Jazmine Franks are also among the celebrities supporting the project.
