The Wanted star Jay McGuiness has called on his bandmates to end their apparent feud with One Direction.

The two British-Irish boybands have been sparring continuously for a number of months on Twitter and in interviews.

The Wanted's Max George recently challenged the 'Kiss You' stars to a charity boxing fight, whilst Zayn Malik said that he had already previously offered the lads a fight in the ring.

However, it seems it's all got a bit tiresome for Jay McGuiness, who encouraged the boybands to end their feud. He told Entertainmentwise:

"No fighting. I think we should try and end it now, by saying we're very proud of them and the success they've had. They're doing brilliant."

Bandmate Nathan Sykes meanwhile commented: "You're probably asking the wrong person because I stay out of it."
