Boyband member Max George, of The Wanted fame, has revealed that he almost drowned while filming scenes for his group's new reality show and he owes his life to one of their cameramen. 

At last night's (June 18) exclusive screening of the first episode, singer George revealed that he was 'intoxicated' and in a hot tub when he slipped under the water and didn't notice until his body was being pulled out by one of the TV show's crew:

"It wasn't that we weren't aware we were being filmed, it was just that we were so intoxicated we didn't really care. I owe a massive thank you to our night cameraman. He actually saved my life one night."

He added: "I went underwater in the middle of the night one night in the hot tub and didn't know. [The cameraman] came and dragged my wrinkled, naked body out of the hot tub."

'The Wanted Life' is due to premiere in the UK next week on Monday, June 24 at 9pm on the E! channel.
