The Wanted happy to return to the UK

The Wanted have admitted that returning to the UK following a long stint in the US has given them a "new lease of life".

The British-Irish boyband have spent a hefty period of time in the States recently to film their debut reality TV show The Wanted Life.

It seems, however, that they are pleased to have returned to their homeland following the conclusion of filming. Tom Parker told the Daily Star:

"It feels like there's a new lease of life now. Although we've been working for three years it almost feels like we've gone back to the start again in this country."

Max George added: "We had to try it in America and we're so glad we did it, but we know we've got some catching up to do here and in Europe, which we're more than willing to do. We haven't got anywhere near where we want to yet, so until it gets to a point where we know we can't get there we won't stop."

Their US trip wasn't the best of times for bandmate Nathan Sykes, who recently admitted that he nearly quit the reality show after coming down with throat problems.
