'Glad You Came' heartthrobs The Wanted have lived up to their naughty reputation over the years with countless stories of drunken behaviour and secret hook-ups, but the lads have revealed that alcohol has now been banned from their dressing rooms on tour.

Member Max George, who recently confessed to shaving bandmate Jay McGuiness's hair while drunk, told The Sun newspaper that their management has taken booze off the rider in an attempt to keep them on the straight and narrow before playing concerts:

"We have been banned from having beer in our dressing rooms. So we have ginger ale and all that kind of stuff instead. They want us to look after our voices and stay out of trouble from now on.”

McGuiness added: "You know when you’re a kid and you get the report that says ‘easily distracted’. Well The Wanted are easily distracted.”

The lads will head out on their Word of Mouth tour next spring, which will kick off on March 14 in Liverpool, and rising stars The Vamps have just been added to the extensive run of shows as a support act.
