Heartthrob Max George, of The Wanted fame, has revealed his favourite moments from the past 12 months and named meeting Michelle Obama as his most memorable encounter. 

Speaking to British magazine Heat, he confessed that hanging out at the White House was amazing and blew his mind:

"Going to the White House and spending time with the First Lady Michelle Obama was an incredible highlight if this year. She was so genuine and welcoming, she definitely put our nerves at ease."

"Both [getting out own TV show and the visit] were well cool, but definitely going to the White House [was better]. There's so much history there. Michelle was kind enough to give us a tour of the White House and we got to see a lot of crazy things most people don't get access to."

The 'Chasing The Sun' hitmaker also confessed that he plans to buy his band mates some funny presents for Christmas and also doesn't intend to quit anything in the new year, so isn't likely to make resolutions:

"We've never actually done a Secret Santa, but I'll probably buy the boys some gag gifts. Or maybe a chain for Jay's phone because he's always losing his mobile... I've never really tried New Year's Resolutions, but I don't think I'd give up anything. I'd be more inclined to try new things."
