Band of the moment, Kodaline, to headline the fifth Nokia Lumia Live Session in Dublin on Wednesday 17th July. The Irish four piece will play a semi acoustic set to an intimate crowd of 150 people as their first appearance in Dublin since their debut album chart success.

Freshly off the back of their debut album “In A Perfect World” entering the UK charts at #3 on Sunday, and their debut performance at Glastonbury tomorrow, Kodaline will perform a semi acoustic set to lucky fans from their home town in a completely unique venue.

The Lumia Live Sessions is a tour that sees Nokia and music pioneers La Blogotheque, a team of bloggers and videographers famous for helping to kick-start the careers of scores of musicians globally, team up to showcase hot new talent at a series of free gigs in unusual settings across the UK.

Annie Kearney, Manager of Partnerships for Nokia UK said; “The Lumia Live Sessions tour has been a great successand we can see this through the caliber of bands that we are attracting to headline our intimate gigs.

“With 2013 being named as the return of the guitar band, Kodaline have timed their arrival perfectly and we couldn’t offer this unique stage to a more deserving band.”

Last month, the Lumia Live Sessions, saw folk-rock duo Slow Club perform a magnificent acoustic set with exclusive never before heard tracks from their forthcoming album in the world’s oldest surviving music hall, the Britannica Panopticon in Glasgow. Previous sessions have also included Ghostpoet in a Bristol cemetery, Fenech Soler in boxing ring in Leeds and Lianne La Havas in Rampworx.
