Simon Cowell reassures Tulisa she won't lose X-Factor job over sex-tape

Simon Cowell has reassured Tulisa Contostavlos that her X-Factor position is safe after blasting the ‘scumbag’ who leaked her sex-tape.

The music mogul, who was speaking at the launch of Britain’s Got Talent yesterday, promised the N-Dubz star she has nothing to worry about following her confession of the 'intimate moment' between her and ex-boyfriend, grime artist MC Ultra.

He said: "Tulisa doesn't have to apologise for anything. The only person who has to apologise is the scumbag who sold the tape.

"It's private, it's intimate and she did nothing wrong. People do these things in the bedroom believe it or not. I feel very sorry for her. He's a scumbag and I feel very, very angry about this."

The 52-year-old, who admitted that he wants all four of last year’s X-Factor judges back for the new series, also declared that he didn’t want MC Ultra, who Tulisa claims is responsible for the tape’s leak, within ‘100 miles of the X-Factor studios.’
