Tulisa says she was introduced to erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey because she likes to dominate men.

The book has caused something of a stir amongst the female population in recent months due to its raunchy content.

Speaking to the Mirror, Tulisa said that her make-up artist told her about the book because of her penchant for dominating men.

She also added that whilst the book hasn't quite upped her sex life, it has had an effect on her imagination. Tulisa said:

"I was one of the first people to get onto the Fifty Shades hype. My make-up artist introduced me to the book because she knows, personally, I like dominating men. I think it's because I am so dominating that I need a dominating guy."

She continued: "So my make-up artist, knowing me, knew about this book and said, 'Oh my God, you have to read it, you are going to love it, this book was made for you'. I started reading it and just became obsessed. It didn't improve my love life but maybe my imagination..."
