28 AUGUST 2020 (TORONTO, ON) - Following the recent launch of London Design Museum Exhibition Electronic: From Kraftwerk To The Chemical Brothers, their sold out 2019 UK arena tour, the release of their double Grammy winning album No Geography and the 20th Anniversary of their Seminal 1999 album Surrender, The Chemical Brothers are releasing a very special vinyl product exclusively for Record Store Day 2020.

The limited edition 180g 12 inch will contain two tracks never before released on vinyl.

The first - ‘Surrender To Love’ - an eleven minute long, deeply psychedelic trip through the heart of Surrender at the hands of pioneering Australian duo The Avalanches. Exclusive to this 12” release, ‘Surrender To Love’ features snatches of tracks from The Chemical Brothers’ career-defining third album (including ‘Dream On’, ‘Setting Sun’ and ‘Out of Control’) alongside samples from archival interviews with the band. The effect is a fully immersive audio experience that reimagines Surrender in the style of The Avalanches’ own classic 2000 debut album Since I Left You. On the flip is The Avalanches mix of ‘Out of Control. This mix was edited from the longer ‘Surrender To Love’ track and previously released digitally in 2019.

The artwork for this Record Store Day 2020 release is a brand new screen print of the original ‘Out Of Control’ single art created by original Surrender artwork designer Kate Gibb.

The release will be available exclusively in independent record stores as part of Record Store Day on Saturday 29th August.

The solicitation for this release went out in January and with the new postponed release date, all orders already placed will be honoured.
