30 DECEMBER 2020 (TORONTO, ON) - Celeste has announced details of her new single "Love Is Back" which is released on December 31st through Polydor Records/Universal Music Canada, the country's leading music company. "Love Is Back" caps off a triumphant year for the breakthrough artist of 2020. It began with the double win of BBC Sound Of 2020 and the BRITS Rising Star award and ends with the British-Jamaican singer and songwriter readying the release of her highly-anticipated debut album, due for release on February 26, 2021.

A soulful R&B anthem with a Motown-style swagger, "Love Is Back" is the follow-up to ‘A Little Love’, which was written especially for this year’s John Lewis Christmas ad and is shaping up to be Celeste’s biggest hit to date. Speaking about ‘Love Is Back’, Celeste says: “‘Love Is Back’ is a satirical look at love. It pinpoints the moment you see someone who you really fancy, the feeling is all new again, you get carried away with the idea of who you think they may be... You then think you are in love again…. And then the reality comes to you that this person really isn’t right at all!! Although now when I sing it the feeling is different because love really is back!”

"Love Is Back" precedes the release of Not Your Muse, Celeste’s full-length debut. Featuring twelve songs, the album will be released on February 26th and includes "Love Is Back" and eight brand new tracks alongside acclaimed previous singles "Strange," "A Little Love" and "Stop This Flame." "A Little Love" was the first time that an original song was commissioned for the John Lewis Christmas campaign, a landmark track for one of modern pop’s true original talents.

Celeste rounds off her extraordinary year with performances on the Top Of The Pops Christmas Special and Jools’ Annual Hootenanny as well as the release of her duet with Jon Batiste "It’s Alright," taken from Disney & Pixar’s must-see film SOUL.
