Recording Artist Jennie Johnson Releases 2nd Single, "I'm On Fire"

Urban Tracks recording artist, Jennie Johnson debuted her second single, “I’m On Fire”, a feel-good 60s styled song produced by platinum producer/remixer and BMI-award winning songwriter, Rodney K . Jackson (Cece Peniston, Madonna) and written by Johnson, R.K. Jackson, J. Alston, S. Reed, S. Jackson, and K. Smith. The single is a prelude to her EP , "Note To Self", also released on June 22, 2018.
The single, part of a five-song set, will be available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and most digital outlets. Distributed by Urban Tracks (The Orchard/Sony). A portion of proceeds will be donated to The National Network To End Domestic Violence and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

About Jennie Johnson
Jennie Johnson is an American contemporary soul/pop singer-songwriter, and model originally from San Bernardino, CA. Jennie first gained the attention from many with her self-released music, and modeling on several social media platforms. Jennie has also performed several of her own compositions as the opening act for celebrities such as Saving Forever, Ryan Cabrera, Grammy-Nominee Tamia,112, Next, and Keith Sweat. Jennie Johnson will release a documentary detailing the series of events that inspired her to write her latest EP, Note To Self.
The documentary, also titled “Note To Self”, covers Jennie’s struggles from childhood to adulthood. Jennie candidly speaks about growing up in an abusive home, spending years in foster care, dealing with family suicide, abusive relationships, teen pregnancy, and homelessness. The video highlights how she used music to heal the scars of this traumatic past.
