This Friday, October 14th, electro-soul group KopaTechnic will release their latest project, Always (Original Score). The 16-track album is the soundtrack to the Christopher Blair Harmon and R.K. Jackson musical based on a young diva that rises to the top of the industry as an executive and is seduced by power. Through her journey, she must deal with the unfortunate consequences of her actions.

BMI-Award winning songwriter, Rodney K Jackson, produced the album and features lead vocals from Amber Dirks and Jimmie Alston. From Disco-inspired anthems, Jazz-influenced R&B, and House Music, Always (Original Score) takes you on a musical journey from the 70s to the early 90s. “This project is created to flow as a concept album for the musical and not as singles to be parted out” states Jackson. Guest artists featured included Shantal Reed, Danny “ D. Mosis” Moore, Debbie Sledge, Malaika LeRae, and Wisdom Soul.

The album will be supported with live performances from the group along with an illustrated storyboard visual of the musical and narration. Performances will be booked starting in January 2023. For more information on booking, go to the group’s website, https://kopatechnic.com.

About

About KopaTechnic

Combine a platinum/BMI award-winning dance music producer/remixer/musician, an internationally praised recording artist, and an innovative lyricist/musician and the result is KopaTechnic.

Dance music has been evolving since its birth in the mid-80's and nobody understands the evolution of such music like BMI-Award winning producer/ songwriter/SD, Rodney K. Jackson (Madonna's"Love Don't Live Here Anymore Remix (Triple Platinum Smash)", RuPaul's "Little Drummer Boy", Cece Peniston's "Finally"). Born in the era of disco and funky-style tunes, Jackson has forever been a believer in the celebratory message of dancing and what music can have on a person's soul. After having success writing and producing Peniston's biggest hit, Finally, Rodney Jackson went on to produce several Billboard Hot 100 songs and putting together the group, KopaTechnic.

Billboard-charting vocalist Amber Dirks (Sister Sledge, Reflex Ft. Amber Dirks "Feel The Love", DJ JST & Amber Dirks "Rejoice", and Power 2 Move "Stepping Out") offers her powerhouse vocals to the group and lyricist, Jimmie Alston, was more than willing to dedicate his skills and energy to the new project and it was then that this trio became what is now KopaTechnic.
