Usher not focusing on number ones or sell-out tours

Usher has insisted that he doesn't need to land No.1 records or sell out tours.

The singer has been in the game since the late 1980s and he is still going strong today.

Speaking in the autumn issue of Fault magazine, the US star said that he is at a point in his career where he doesn't need hit singles to boost his prospects.

Usher said: "I don't feel that I've got to sell out this tour, or sell crazy amounts of albums, or have the number one single. It's great to have all those things, but that isn't what I'm doing.

"The one thing the album represents is confidence. Not confidence in a cocky way, but being open about what I feel, take it or leave it. If I'm not honest about my feelings then you'll never know how I really feel."

The R&B man meanwhile recently confirmed that his new album 'UR', which had been expected to land later this year, has been delayed.
