Usher reveals he would be supportive if children wanted to be singers

Usher has revealed he would be supportive of his children if they chose to become singers.

The 33-year-old, who has two children, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond, told Capital FM that he would encourage them if they decided to follow in their father’s footsteps and enter the music industry:

"I would be supportive. If this is something that they wanted to do, of course, and they were good at it.

"But I would never want to force my children to be anything they don't want to do.”

The R&B superstar, who is set to chart inside the UK Top 5 tomorrow with his seventh studio album, ‘Looking 4 Myself,’ went on to add that he’s enjoying being able to show his kids the positive side of the business:

“The coolest part that I haven't been able to experience [much] yet is being able to introduce my children to so many different things, so many different aspects of the business and things that they've seen.

"Like at the ages of four and three my children were able to ride horses, you know? And Usher [Raymond V] rode by himself, so who knows, he may be a future polo player!"
