Usher's 'Climax' named Best Song of 2012 by Time magazine

R&B superstar Usher has a new title to celebrate now as his sexy hit 'Climax' topped Time magazine's Best Songs of 2012 poll.

The track, which served as his latest album's lead single, came out at No.1 on a list of the best songs from the past twelve months, and he beat tough competition from the likes of Psy's 'Gangnam Style' and Taylor Swift's 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'.

Carly Rae Jepsen's breakthrough hit, 'Call Me Maybe', also made the list, which you can see below in full. Meanwhile, Usher is currently filming for his new role as a coach on The Voice USA and he explained that it's an honour to be involved:

"It's the type of show that I feel really sets up an artist and makes it about what matters most first: the voice. Everything else comes afterwards in terms of the mentors; that's what gives the personality, gives the opportunity to be an artist who will excel and transcend culture and also be able to tell an incredible story in music. So I like being able to be at that place. I love being a mentor."

  2. Carly Rae Jepsen - 'Call Me Maybe'
